Bulgaria reports 2,180 daily Covid-19 cases, 41 deaths

2,180 is the number of new Covid-19 cases out of 16,354 tests performed in the country in the past 24 hours, a positivity rate of 13.33%, compared to 2,462 a day earlier. 73% of the new infections are among the unvaccinated, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show.

207,567 is the number of active cases in the country, down by 156 from the previous day.

273 is the number of new hospital admissions, over 82% of them are among the unvaccinated. The number of people being treated in hospital is down by 135 to 2,831, 357 of them are in intensive care.

41 Covid-19 patients have died in the past day, 40 of them were not vaccinated. 2,295 is the number of recoveries in the past day.

1,905 doses of vaccine have been administered in the past day.
