Vaccination against Covid-19 practically grinds to a halt

1,693 is the number of new Covid-19 cases out of 14,946 tests performed in the country in the past day, compared to 1,920 the previous day. More than 74% of the new infections are among the unvaccinated. The coronavirus positivity rate is 11.3%, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show.  

202,247 is the number of active cases registered in the country. 221 is the number of new hospital admissions, more than 84% of them among the unvaccinated. 2,698 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospital, 354 of them in intensive care.

33 patients with established coronavirus have died in the past day, 30 of them were not vaccinated. 5,093 is the number of recoveries registered in the country in the past 24 hours.

A mere 2,740 doses of vaccine were administered on Thursday.
