Varna, Burgas and Dobrich are running out of capacity to accommodate refugees

The towns of Varna, Burgas and Dobrich, which accommodated the largest number of refugees from Ukraine, are running out of capacity, Andrey Voynikov from the Center of Bessarabian Bulgarians said in an interview with Radio Varna.

He called on Bulgarians from other district cities to provide the refugees with housing assistance. In his words, the first refugees who arrived in Bulgaria were mainly Bessarabian Bulgarians who had acquaintances and relatives in Bulgaria and knew the language. Now, however, Ukrainians who do not understand the language and speak only Russian or Ukrainian are arriving in the country. They do not know Bulgaria and it is very difficult to communicate with them, says Andrey Voynikov.
