Bulgaria reports 960 new cases of Covid-19 out of 8,192 tests performed

960 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 8,192 tests performed. 12% of the tests have returned positive result. 69% of the new cases are among the unvaccinated. The highest number of new infections was reported in Sofia-281, followed by Varna- 134 and Burgas- 116.

2, 575 people are being treated in hospital, as 345 of them are in intensive care units. 93 Covid-19 patients have been admitted to hospitals in the past day. 80% of them were unvaccinated.

15 people with established coronavirus infection have died in the past 24 hours. 80% of them were not immunized. 1,246 patients have been reported cured.

A mere 704 vaccine doses were administered on Saturday. 2,053,185 is the number of people with a completed vaccination cycle. 702,584 have had a booster shot.
