School testing for COVID-19 will not be scrapped in Bulgaria for the time being, Education Minister Nikolai Denkov said in Plovdiv.

He sent an inquiry to the Ministry of Health. "However, they also have concerns about the foreigners who are coming, so it would be their decision," Denkov said.

Bulgarian language courses have already been organized for the young people. According to the Minister, Bulgaria's education system has the capacity to accept up to 100 thousand students from Ukraine.

The quota for the admission of Bessarabian Bulgarians to universities will be increased by a thousand, Nikolai Denkov also said. Bulgaria will apply for funding from the common European refugee center.
