90% of the refugees arriving from Ukraine are mothers with children, Sofia Regional Governor Ivan Kyuchukov said. A temporary crisis center is already operating at the Sofia Central Station to support asylum seekers.
"We have enough supplies of food and water, we have provided medical care and the opportunity to test for Covid-19," Kyuchukov said.
