Bulgarian Minister of Defense Dragomir Zakov and US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin discussed the situation in Ukraine and measures to strengthen NATO's eastern flank, according to the press center of the Ministry of Defense.
A leading topic in the talks was the permanent multinational battle group formed by Bulgaria under the control of the NATO Commander-in-Chief in Europe.
