Health Ministry launches information campaign on the benefits of Covid-19 vaccination

1,960 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past day out of 16,390 tests performed, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. 11.96% of the tests have returned positive result. 69.9% of the new cases are among the unvaccinated.

The number of active cases has decreased with 2,424 to 190,664. 292 Covid-19 patients have been admitted to hospitals in the past 24 hours. 73.6% of them were not immunized.

The number of Covid-19 hospitalizations has decreased with 95 to 2,016. 246 patients are in intensive care units.

48 people with established coronavirus infection have died in the past day. 44 of them were not inoculated against Covid-19. 4,336 have been reported cured.

A mere 1,559 vaccine doses were administered on Monday. Bulgaria’s Ministry of Health has launched an information campaign on the benefits of vaccination against Covid-19.
