Bulgaria’s public media - BNR and BNT, have joined forces and in cooperation with the National Theater "Ivan Vazov" organized a charity campaign in support of those suffering from the war in Ukraine. It will start with the concert "Together for Ukraine", which will be held under the auspices of President Rumen Radev.
The charity concert will be broadcast by all national and regional programs of the Bulgarian National Radio on March 28 at 19:00. During the event, as well as during the period leading up to its television broadcast on BNT 1 on April 3, the Bulgarian National Radio will be providing information about the Bulgarian Red Cross donation accounts.
The funds raised through messages to short number 1466 for all mobile operators (costing half a euro) and donations on the spot or to the bank account of the Bulgarian Red Cross will be donated to the victims of the war.
"There cannot be competition in charity, we really want to help," BNR Director General Milen Mitev has told Radio Bulgaria.
