The moratorium on electricity, heating and water prices еxpires on March 31st. The price freeze would not be extended, Radoslav Ribarski, head of the Energy Committee in parliament, confirmed to BNR. He said that he did not expect any price increases.

Stanislav Todorov, head of the Water and Energy Regulatory Commission, said there would be no increase in electricity, heating and water costs for households from April 1, although natural gas, which is the basis of the pricing, will rise from that date.

"The new prices for heating as a result of the change in the price of natural gas will probably be introduced from May, and for water services - this summer," Todorov said.
