8.1% coronavirus positivity rate in Bulgaria in past day

Bulgaria reports five times more recoveries than new infections in past day

1,143 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 14,092 tests performed, data of coronavirus.bg show. Two-thirds of the new cases are among the unvaccinated. 8.1% of the tests have returned positive results.

The number of active cases decreased with 4,007 to 179,885. 193 Covid-19 patients have been admitted in hospital in the past day. 79.3% of them were not immunized. 1,944 Covid-19 patients are being treated in hospital, as 219 of them are in intensive care units.

17 people with established coronavirus infection have died in the past 24 hours. 14 of them were not inoculated against Covid-19. 5,133 people have been reported cured.

1,698 vaccine doses were administered on Thursday. 2,050,547 is the number of people with a completed vaccination cycle.
