Number of Covid-19 cases continues to decline

There have been 497 new Covid-19 cases for a day. According to official data, 6.56% of 7,572 tests returned positive result. There are 1,851 people in hospital, as 205 are in intensive care. 69 patients were hospitalized in the past day; 11 people died and 473 patients recovered.

Most of the new cases were registered in Sofia – 183; followed by Varna – 48, and Burgas - 31.

The number of people vaccinated in the past day was 339. There are already 2,050,852 people with a completed vaccination cycle in Bulgaria, as 724,711 have three doses.
