Supreme Judicial Council should support the proposal of Justice Minister Nadezhda Yordanova for early dismissal of Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev, urged PM Kiril Petkov. He spoke to journalists after his nearly three-hour long interrogation in Sofia City Prosecutor's Office.

Petkov was summoned on a tip-off from Dubai fugitive Vasil Bozhkov. The gambling tycoon Bozhkov claimed he had been blackmailed by Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, his PR Sevdelina Arnaudova and former Finance Minister Vladislav Goranov.

The prime minister refused to give details about his interrogation, but said he had provided investigators with an audit report on public procurement irregularities in various municipalities under Vladislav Goranov. "The audit agency, which is supposed to audit all EU funds, somehow overslept or did not see that in many of the municipalities we have a concentration of over 90 percent with only one contractor for EU projects," Kiril Petkov said.
