Bulgaria reports less than 7.5% positive tests for Covid in past day

Bulgaria has registered 839 new cases of coronavirus in the country in the last 24 hours. 63.5% of newly infected persons have not been vaccinated. 7.49% of the 11,209 tests performed returned a positive result, data of the National Coronavirus Information Portal show.

The number of actively registered patients has decreased by 1,347 to 172,222. 154 infected patients were admitted to hospitals yesterday as 75% of them are not immunized. The number of hospitalized patients has decreased by 157 to 1,461 as 174 of them are in intensive care.

28 people with established Covid-19 infection died during the past day. A total of 2,158 recoveries were reported.

1,535 vaccines were administered in Bulgaria on Tuesday. There are currently 2,051,389 people with full vaccination.
