Numbers and figures show decline in Covid spread

726 new Covid cases were registered in Bulgaria in the past day. More than 2/3 of the newly infected were non-vaccinated citizens. 7% of 10,356 tests returned positive result, according to the portal coronavirus.bg.

The number of actively registered patients decreased by 683 to 171,639. There were 115 new hospital admissions in the past day. 77.4 percent of these patients were not immunized. The number of hospitalized patients decreased by 87 to 1,373 as 165 people are in intensive care.

19 people with Covid died yesterday as 16 of them were not vaccinated. The number of recoveries reached 1,290.

1,748 vaccines were administered on Wednesday. 2,051,667 people have already been fully vaccinated.
