Bulgaria has reported 17 Covid-related deaths in past day

Bulgaria has confirmed 683 new Covid-19 cases in the country in the last 24 hours. 69% of newly infected citizens have not been vaccinated. 6.9% of the 9,917 tests performed returned a positive result, according to the National Coronavirus Information Portal.

The number of actively registered patients has decreased by 1,755 to 169,884. 139 infected patients were admitted to hospitals. 84.2% of them are not immunized. The number of hospitalized patients decreased to 1,350 as 156 patients are now in intensive care.
During the day, 17 people with an established Covid-19 infection have died. 2,421 recoveries were reported.
1,557 vaccine jabs were administered on Thursday. 2,051,896 people have now completed the vaccination cycle.
