Bulgaria reports 866 new Covid-19 cases, a positivity rate of 6.7%

886 is the number of new Covid-19 cases out of 13,175 tests performed in the country in the past day, a positivity rate of 6.7%, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. 63% of the new infections are among the unvaccinated. The number of active cases is 166,776.

131 is the number of new hospital admissions in the past 24 hours, 82% or 107 of them were not vaccinated. 1,157 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospital, 56 down on the previous day, 126 of them are in intensive care.

10 patients with established Covid-19 have died in the past 24 hours, 8 of them were not vaccinated. 1,964 is the number of recoveries reported in the past day.

1,885 doses of vaccine have been administered on Tuesday, bringing the number of people with a completed vaccination cycle in the country to 2,052,789.
