Bulgaria reports 16 Covid-related deaths in past day

647 are the new cases of coronavirus registered in Bulgaria for the last 24 hours, or 239 less than a day earlier. 64% of newly infected citizens have not been vaccinated. 7.1 percent of the 9,129 tests performed have returned a positive result, according to the National Coronavirus Information Portal.

The number of actively registered patients has decreased by 369 to 166,417.  
111 infected patients were admitted to hospitals in the past day. 77.48% of them are not immunized. The number of hospitalized patients decreased to 1,134. 131 people are being treated in intensive care.

16 people with an established Covid-19 infection have died in the past day. Half of them were not vaccinated. There are 990 reported recoveries.

1,744 vaccines were administered in Bulgaria on Wednesday. 2,053,086 people have completed the immunization cycle.
