Government approval has dropped to 19 percent for two months, according to sociologists

A study by Alpha Research has reported a drop in public approval of the government from 35% to 19% and a rise in disapproval from 23% to 48%. Trust in Prime Minister Kiril Petkov also dropped from 39% to 23%.

With 21.7% of voter support, GERB is the first political force, according to the poll. Support for the ruling party We Continue the Change has marked 6-percent decline to 18.4 percent. The BSP is third with 10.2%.

The Vazrazhdane Party has 9.4% of support and the MRF has the usual 7.6%. Co-ruling coalition Democratic Bulgaria stabilized at 6.7%. There is a 2.1 percent decline in approval for There is Such a People who have the support of 4.5 percent of voters.

The study was conducted in the period April 8 to 14th and was funded by Alpha Research.
