A memorandum of cooperation to give students greater opportunities to start their own business

It is extremely important that the topic regarding innovations and entrepreneurship reaches as many young people as possible and their good ideas turn into business, Bulgaria’s Minister of Innovation and Growth Daniel Lorer said during the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the Fund of Funds in Bulgaria and Sofia Univesrity St. Kliment Ohridski.

The memorandum will give students greater opportunities to start their own business or other entrepreneurial activity. Minister Lorer also announced the first initiative- a national competition themed “Best Youth Startup for 2022”. The new programing period earmarks money for technology transfer for young scientists, Minister Lorer further said emphasizing the connection between business and science.
