Bulgarian miliary take part in guarding Bulgaria's southern border with Greece, Turkey

150 soldiers and 20 vehicles of the Bulgarian army have joined the protection of the Bulgarian-Greek and Bulgarian-Turkish borders. The servicemen, who are members of the Centre for Specialist Training, from the 2nd and 61st mechanized brigades, support the teams of the Ministry of Interior. The military is conducting a joint patrol with the border police in the region of Malko Tarnovo, Gramatikovo, Zvezdets, Bolyarovo and Sredets.

The ground forces will perform tasks on protection of the Bulgarian border due to increased migratory pressure, the Ministry of Defence announced.
