Democratic Bulgaria, which is part of the ruling coalition, criticized the Speaker of  Bulgarian National Assembly for delaying the Foreign Policy Committee's request for military aid to Ukraine. In the meanwhile the co-governing party There is Such a People insisted that Parliament, the president and the government should come up with a common position on the issue.

Oppоsition party Vazrazhdane claimed that Bulgaria was exporting a huge amount of arms to Ukraine through middlemen

"A Ukrainian AN-12 will take off again from Varna airport for Poland. There is a convoy of Ukrainian trucks in front of arms plant "Dunarit" in Ruse. Huge quantities of weapons have also been loaded from the Arsenal arms factory in Kazanlak to be trucked via Poland to Ukraine," said party leader Kostadin Kostadinov.
