Inflation, good harvests and high rental rates make price of agricultural land jump

Photo: BGNES

The most expensive Bulgarian agricultural land in Dobrudzha has reached a new peak in the price of over 2,000 euros per decare in some deals, real estate brokers in Dobrich region have told BTA. There is great interest in agricultural land as the safest investment, so the market is turbulent and prices are going up.

For a few months the price rise has risen by about 30%. The rise in prices is also due to the good rental rates that agricultural cooperatives pay to owners. In 2021 they were about 90 euros per decare, as the sum is not subject to taxation.
