Bulgarian rhythmic gymnast Boryana Kaleyn topped the all-around standings in the first day of the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku.

She played her hoop and ball compositions excellently, and today she is to perform her clubs and ribbon routines.

The other Bulgarian, Eva Brezalieva, placed 12th after an error on the ball, and will play only the hoop final on Sunday.

The Bulgarian ensemble is not competing in the Azerbaijani capital because it did not receive an invitation to participate, explained Iliana Raeva, president of the Bulgarian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation.
