Arms exports have tripled in the last two months. At a briefing in Stara Zagora, Hristo Gadzhev from GERB party quoted information about two flights, from Sofia Airport to Poland Airport, for the export of 600,000 pieces of 30 and 40 mm ammunition. According to him, they were performed by a Bulgarian airline with a Ukrainian cargo air operator.

Gadzhev clarified that the company that receives them is Polish, but they landed at the airport near the border with Ukraine. He also commented that on April 4 and 5 there were flights with 30 and 40 mm ammunition for grenade launchers.
