Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 28 April 2022

Cold front brings showers, snow in the mountains

A cold front will pass over the country on Thursday. Northwesterly wind will bring clouds, first over the northwest regions and later over the whole country. There will be passing showers. Minimum temperatures will be between 8 and 13°C, 9°C for Sofia. During the day, cumulus clouds will cover most of the country. Rain and thunderstorms are expected in Central and Eastern Bulgaria. There will be conditions for hail. On the Black Sea coast it will be sunny most of the day. Maximum temperatures will be 17 to 22°C, in the capital - 17°C.

Over the mountains it will be cloudy with significant precipitation and snow above 1,800 m. The maximum temperature at 1,200 m will be 12°C, at 2,000 m - about 6.

Rainfall will cease over the whole country on Friday.
