Business climate in Bulgaria has improved in April

The economic situation in the country has improved compared to March. But a growing number of executives in all sectors predict price increases in the next three months, according to the latest survey by the National Statistical Institute

The most optimistic forecasts are in the retail sector, where expectations for improvement rose 10.6 basis points after a 7.8-point drop in March. The industrial sector also reported an increase of 4.6 points, followed by the service sector by 3.5 points.

There has been a decline in business expectations in construction of 2.8 points. The overall business climate indicator increased in April by 4.2 points compared to March when it decreased by 4.8 points.
