Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Environment Borislav Sandov paid an official visit to Belgrade, Serbia, where he signed, with his Serbian counterpart Irena Vujović, a cross-border agreement on environmental impact assessment and strategic environmental assessment.

The document regulates the rules for the conduct of public consultations and public hearings on the territories of the two countries, the procedure of exchange of documents and their publication in the official languages of the two countries.

A two-year programme was approved, until 2023, on the implementation of the memorandum of understanding between the two ministries, as well as on cooperation in EP.
