Vukovar commemorates Bugarian soldiers killed in World War II

On May 6, the Day of Bravery and of the Armed Forces of Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Embassy in Croatia laid wreaths at the Bulgarian Military Cemetery in Vukovar, where the bones of 1,027 Bulgarian soldiers and officers who died in the final operations of World War II were laid, BTA reports.
Wreaths were laid by the Bulgarian Ambassador Genka Georgieva and the Bulgarian military and air attaché to Croatia based in Vienna Colonel Yoan Pavlov, the representative of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia Ivan Picukarić, the deputy mayor of Vukovar Filip Sušac, and the Chairman of the Bulgarian Community in Zagreb Rashko Ivanov.
