Bulgaria’s government to meet with the World Bank in Sofia

In Washington, Bulgaria’s Premier Kiril Petkov met with the President of the World Bank Group David Malpass. Premier Petkov and David Malpass agreed a meeting between Bulgaria’s government and the World Bank in Sofia, the press service of the Council of Ministers announced.

 The possibilities for providing technical assistance in support of reforms were also on the agenda. The war in Ukraine as well as energy topics were also in the focus of the meeting between Kiril Petkov and David Malpass.

Prime Minister Kiril Petkov is currently holding talks with the United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken, the government press service announced. The purpose of Premier Petkov’s visit to the United States Department of State is to negotiate better conditions for energy supplies for Bulgaria.
