Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces have repulsed 18 Russian attacks in Donbass, the army's general staff in Kyiv announced.

Russian aviation and heavy equipment are unsuitable for modern warfare and are not sufficiently equipped for long-term military operation. Russia has already lost on several fronts and is nearing its final defeat, British Secretary of State for Defence Ben Wallace was quoted as saying by The Daily Mail.
During an attempt to deliver an air defense system to the Zmiinyi Island in the Black Sea, the modernized Russian navy logistics ship Vsevolod Bobrov was struck. A fire broke out on board. The ship was towed to Sevastopol and will remain out of service for a long time, said the adviser to the Ukrainian president Oleksiy Arestovych.
Kyiv wants to sign an agreement with Moscow to evacuate wounded people from the Azovstal plant in Mariupol, Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk said.
Due to its fear of acknowledging its strategic defeat, which is obvious to the whole world, Russia continues shelling against civilian targets, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in another address.
