Weather forecast for Bulgaria for Monday, May 16

Temperatures continue to increase

The minimum temperatures on Monday will fluctuate between 9°C and 15°C, for Sofia- around 9°C.

It will be sunny in Western and Central Bulgaria. Occasional showers and thunderstorms are expected in the eastern parts of the country and the mountains at noon and in the afternoon hours. Hailstorms are also possible. Maximum temperatures will reach 26°C-31°C, for Sofia- around 26.

It will be mostly sunny over the Black Sea coast. Rain and thunderstorms are expected in some areas along the northern coastline. Maximum temperatures will reach 20°C-23°C. The seawater temperature is 14°C-15°C. Sea state 2.

Sunny weather is expected in the mountains before noon. Rain and thunderstorms are expected in many areas in the afternoon. Maximum temperatures at an altitude of 1,200 meters will reach 18°C, at 2,000 meters- 11°C.
