Bulgaria reports less than 3% new infections in past day

There are 73 new Covid-19 cases in the country in the last 24 hours, or 60 less than the day before. Over 61% of the newly infected persons have not been vaccinated. 2.9% of the 2,485 tests performed came back positive, according to the National Coronavirus Information Portal.

The number of actively registered patients decreased by 692 to 76,901. 

12 infected patients were admitted to hospitals. 10 of the newly hospitalized patients, or over 83%, have not been vaccinated. The number of hospital stays decreased by 10 to 410 with 37 people in intensive care.

During the day, 1 patient with an established Covid-19 infection who had not been vaccinated passed away. 764 people were reported cured.

13 vaccines were administered on Sunday. 2,059,200 people have completed the immunization cycle.
