Project envisages financial reward for signals about tax evasion

Anyone who provided information helpful to establish tax evasion should receive a 10% bonus on the evaded sum, a package of measures aimed at more effective collection of taxes and social security contributions, envisages. This is what MP from "We Continue the Change" Iskren Mitev told Nova TV. According to the new project, anonymity of the signal submitters will be ensured. The reported sum must be over EUR 1,533.

At the moment, it is also possible to submit such signals, but without receiving rewards. According to Mitev, if the measure was approved, its effect on the state budget would be measured in hundreds of millions.
