MPs to hear out Kalina Konstantinova on refugee resettlement

Deputy Prime Minister for Good Governance Kalina Konstantinova will be heard out tomorrow at the National Assembly over the government's decision to suspend the resettlement plan for Ukrainian refugees. 

"What happens with the citizens of Ukraine, who have sought temporary protection in Bulgaria, shows another predictable failure of the Petkov cabinet," said Radomir Cholakov from GERB party, which has demanded that the deputy prime minister answer to the MPs. 

In a video address on Monday, Kalina Konstantinova said the refugees would be temporarily housed in tents and vans in so-called buffer centres in Sarafovo and Elhovo, from where they would be sent to state facilities across the country.
