"Democratic Bulgaria" - one of the four formations that are part of the ruling coalition, will submit a draft for checking the activities of "Lukoil Bulgaria", Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Energy Ivaylo Mirchev has told BNR. According to him, the oil refinery in Burgas has so far defended the Russian interests rather than the Bulgarian ones. "The state's golden share exercised control in favor of Russian interests," he said. According to him, it will take several months for the refinery to reconfigure its installations and make them work with non-Russian oil. Ivaylo Mirchev also said that a competition for a new representative of the state in Lukoil is forthcoming.
