"There are categorically no nuclear weapons in Bulgaria. Such allegations are speculation,” President Rumen Radev told reporters, in a comment on the news that US Air Force F-35 fighter aircraft landed in Bulgaria on 30 May for joint air exercises in the Black Sea region, jointly with the Royal Netherlands Air Force.

President Radev stated further that the fighters are here for joint training with the Bulgarian Air Force and to reinforce the air policing of the country, BGNES reports.
