First batch of Ukrainian military hardware has arrived in Bulgaria to be repaired

Answering a question whether Bulgaria would send Ukraine military aid, Prime Minister Kiril Petkov answered, while on a visit to Sadovo, that there was a decision approved by parliament not to send weapons, only to repair Ukrainian combat vehicles.

 “I do not intend to open discussions on the matter every couple of weeks. The first batch of Ukrainian equipment has arrived in this country. We have put up refugees, we have allocated funding for humanitarian aid, we have supported all sanctions against Russia. Bulgaria has done enough in this respect,” the Prime Minister stated.

Kiril Petkov declared that the second tanker of natural gas from the US would be arriving on 23 June.

The first tanker has already arrived, the Ministry of Energy told public service TV BNT. No details regarding the quantities delivered have been given.
