Foreign Minister Teodora Genchovska and Energy Minister Alexander Nikolov submitted their resignations after the party that elected them, There is Such a People party, announced that it was leaving the government. Both ministers will remain in office until their respective successors are elected.

Prior to their resignation, Deputy Prime Minister and Regional Minister Grozdan Karadzhov and Sports Minister Radostin Vassilev, also from the There is Such a People quota, left Kiril Petkov's cabinet.

For now it is not clear when a motion for dismissal of the ministers will be tabled in parliament. The ruling We Continue the Change party said that their main priority is the adoption of the state budget update.
