Bulgarian Minister of Defense Dragomir Zakov takes part in the NATO meeting, held on June 15 and 16 in Brussels. The defense ministers will attend a working dinner with representatives of Ukraine, Georgia, Finland, Sweden and the EU to discuss efforts to stop Russian aggression, ways to provide support for Ukraine and options for helping countries in NATO that are vulnerable to Russian influence. The forum will prepare the most important decisions for the summit in Madrid in June.

The third of a series of Ramstein meetings includes more than 50 countries. Ukraine needs more heavy weapons from NATO to withstand Russian aggression, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said. The United States and its allies are ready to provide Kyiv with all the weapons it needs to win, U.S. Defense Secretary Gen. Lloyd Austin, said.

According to Ukrainian Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar, Ukraine has received 10% of the requested assistance from western partners.
