MPs will debate the no-confidence motion against the government at an extraordinary sitting on 21 June. The vote on the motion must take place within 48 hours of the debate.

Speaking to Nova TV, the deputy of the ruling party We Continue the Change Plamen Shalafov praised the deputies who chose "the light side of the Force" and left the There is Such a People party (ITN). He said that by June 23, the ruling party hopes to achieve a majority.

Iva Miteva, deputy speaker of the parliament from There is Such a People, told BNR that Prime Minister Kiril Petkov continues to put pressure on ITN MPs. "The pressure on our colleagues is really insane. They are trying to crush us mentally. Including, I found out that the State Agency for National Security have launched checks against me and Mr Karimanski. Apparently they are looking for compromising facts," Miteva said.
