Inflation rate is slowing down on a monthly basis: Assen Vassilev

Inflation is beginning to slow down on a monthly basis, while year-on-year, a growth rate is still being registered, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Assen Vassilev stated in an interview with Dnevnik.

He warned that pensioners will be doomed to a life of poverty if part of the pension payments is not provided from taxes. Assen Vassilev stated further that within 18 months at the latest, the oil refinery in Burgas will be able to readjust its capacities so it can function using oil that is other than Russian.
