The national exposition of arts and crafts in Oreshak village near Troyan is marking its 50th jubilee today with a retrospective exhibition “Tradition with a future”.
Vice President Iliana Iotova is a special guest at the event. Visitors coming to Oreshak will be able to see the exhibits created by several generations of master craftsmen of different schools – pottery, embroidery, woodcarving. “It is a place where our roots are alive, a place where craft skills meet national cultures, a tourist destination well known in the region, in the country and the world,” Ivanka Jabrailova, director of the exposition said at the opening of the event.
