MPs finally approved the increase of the minimum pension from 189 to 238 euro as of July 1 and adopted the ceiling of the maximum pension to be 1000 euro.
From 1 October, the ceiling will rise again to 1738 euro, which is the amount of the maximum insurable income. However, the top-up to the maximum will be paid a little later, probably with an additional payment in July or August.
