Finland and Sweden will sign the NATO accession protocols on July 5, the Alliance's headquarters in Brussels announced. Following the Russian aggression in Ukraine, the two countries formally confirmed their willingness and ability to fulfill the political, legal and military obligations associated with membership, the statement said. After the signing, the process of ratification of accession by the 30 countries in the pact begins.

The leaders of the G-7 countries are looking for opportunities to export the much-needed Ukrainian grain from Ukraine "in smaller quantities" through the Danube River, Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced in the British Parliament.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said they were negotiating with Turkey and the United Nations on grain exports. "It is very important that someone ensures the safety of the ships. On our part, we are not wasting time and are working on different routes, both rail and river, for export and every day we are increasing the export," the President stressed.

The recovery of Ukraine is expected to cost 750 billion euros, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal estimated in a speech before a major donor conference in Lugano. The damage to the infrastructure alone is over 100 billion euros, Shmyhal said.

With the exception of minimal Ukrainian advances near Kharkiv and Kherson, there are no significant changes on the front line. Ukrainian forces systematically attack and destroy Russian ammunition depots and military logistics. Russia has accused the Ukrainians of having attacked civilian targets in the Russian cities of Belgorod, in Kursk and in occupied Donetsk, the Air Force reported.
