Bulgaria reports 6 Covid-related deaths in past day

256 is the number of new Covid-19 cases registered in the country in the past 24 hours out of 1,369 tests performed. Two-thirds of the new infections are among the unvaccinated, the positivity rate is 18.7%, compared to 21.39% on the previous day, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. The number of active cases is up by 224 to 10,864.

27 is the number of new hospital admissions in the past day, 22 of them or 81.48% are among the unvaccinated. The number of patients being treated in hospital is now 451, of them 36 in intensive care.

Six patients with established Covid-19 infection died in the past day, 5 of them were not vaccinated. 26 are reported as recovered.

154 doses of vaccine were administered on Sunday.
