Ivet Lalova-Collio is among the 12 nominees for the 2022 Athletes' Commission elections

Bulgaria's Ivet Lalova-Collio is among the 12 athletes who will compete for six available seats on the World Athletics Athletes' Commission. All athletes accredited for the upcoming World Athletics Championships Oregon 2022 will have the right to vote in the election, which will take place during the championships between July 15 and 24. 

Ivet Lalova participated in five Summer Olympics. She won the 100m title at the European Athletics Championships in 2012. She also won the European indoor 200m title in 2005. "I am running for the World Athletics Athletes' Commission and I believe that all this love and experience can help other athletes and make their journey better," said Ivet Lalova-Collio.
