Taraclia State University in Moldova retains its academic autonomy

The Grigory Tsamblak Taraclia State University in Moldova retains its academic autonomy and university identity, the press center of the Bulgarian President announced. 

The Moldovan institutions have decided not to merge the higher school with the Ion Creangă Pedagogical State University in Chisinau

In a letter to President Rumen Radev, the university's academic community thanked him for his effective intervention to preserve "the only university abroad with enhanced teaching of Bulgarian philology, Bulgarian history, Bulgarian music and Bulgarian culture".
