Ivet Lalova-Collio was elected to the World Athletics Athletes' Commission, the Commission has announced. The Bulgarian sprinter won the biggest number of votes during the world championships in Eugene, USA, and along with five other athletes, will become one of its12 members.
Lalova-Collio came ahead of Anna Ryzhkova, Ukraine, hurdles, Léa Sprunger, Switzerland, track and field, Matthew Hughes, Canada, middle and long distance runner, and Toshikazu Yamanishi, Japan, racewalking.
