A military shell washed up on a beach between the towns of Pomorie and Aheloy was spotted by tourists on the strip near a hotel late yesterday afternoon.
The tourists reported it to the Single European emergency phone number 112.
"It is an empty anti-aircraft shell, the result of military actions in Ukraine," said Admiral Kiril Mikhailov, commander of the Bulgarian Navy. He stressed that the find was completely safe.
